Bryan Cranston is set to star in the reboot of classic Power Rangers. The Breaking Bad actor broke the news via his Twitter account, informing his fans that he will play Zordon in the upcoming reboot, which hits theaters in March next year.
In the tweet to his almost 2 million Twitter followers, Cranston admitted he was “excited” to land the role in the upcoming movie. And the six-time Emmy winner even told a joke, saying that the blue Power Ranger was named after him.
The official Power Rangers Twitter account confirmed the news shortly after Cranston’s tweet came. Cranston will thus play the role of a mentor to the Rangers: Pink Ranger (Naomi Scott), Yellow Ranger (Becky G.), Blue Ranger (RJ Cyler), Black Ranger (Ludi Lin) and Red Ranger (Dacre Montgomery). Elizabeth Banks is also set to star as Rita Repulsa.
The film starring Cranston is based on the iconic Power Rangers franchise, which became popular after TV show titled Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in the 90s. After the original TV series, there have been two other movies: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie in 1995 and Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie in 1997.

Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell, the lovebirds of this year’s Bachelor, have invited cameras to continue rolling in their personal life. The stars of the ABC show’s season 20 got engaged just recently and it looks like they want to show their lives from a different perspective.
The lovebirds have just landed their new reality show Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After on Disney’s Freeform network. The reality show is set to premiere in October and will be centered around the newlyweds preparations for their wedding.
The reality show will also show how the lovebirds prepare for the wedding “while navigating the real world after the splendor of ‘The Bachelor’s’ exotic dates and fantasy suites has ended,” according to the show’s description released by Freeform.
It’s long been known that couples that became engaged on ABC reality shows The Bachelor and The Bachelorette are not the happiest couples in the world. According to an ABC special that reviewed all The Bachelor’s previous seasons, only five out of 20 couples have actually married.
