Musicians are now protesting over GOP front-runner Donald Trump’s appearances on TV. In particular, rapper Belly and The Weeknd canceled their performance during Wednesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, which featured Donald Trump.

Belly was scheduled to perform his new hit Might Not featuring The Weeknd. The rapper and The Weeknd have collaborated on a number of their hits before Might Not.

According to a rep for Belly, the rapper canceled his gig at Kimmel’s late night talk show after he found out that Trump was to appear for an interview on the show.

“A strong believer in equal rights for all, Belly is taking a stand against a man who has made many negative and detrimental remarks about minorities, women, various religious groups and more,” the rep started the statement, describing Belly.

It said in the statement that his appearance on TV was scheduled to promote his upcoming mixtape Another Day In Paradise. But Belly still hopes his fans will understand his decision, the statement said, adding that he plans to “make it up” to them very soon.

It’s not the first time American musicians show some kind of protest against the presidential hopeful Trump. Just last month, legendary The Rolling Stones asked Trump not to use their music during his appearances and gatherings.

And Adele was also one of the musicians who protested against Trump, asking to not use her songs in his presidential campaign. Last year, Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler criticized the GOP front-runner for using his band’s song Dream On.

In the same statement, Belly said he was raised with the ability to “see through” all the titles in the world, from religion to race. “I just didn’t want to feel like I was a part of a celebration for somebody who has beliefs that the majority of us don’t agree with.”

Trump himself didn’t say anything about neither Belly nor his canceled performance during the show, which aired on Wednesday.

Johnny Depp has finally responded to Amber Heard’s efforts to dissolve their marriage. Depp’s rep released a statement, in which it said all the 52-year-old actor hopes for is for this “short marriage” to be resolved quickly.

In the process of divorcing Heard, Depp will not respond to any of the “salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life,” the statement said on Thursday.

Heard announced she is divorcing Depp earlier this week, just days after the actor’s mother Betty Sue Palmer died from a long illness. As explained by the 30-year-old actress herself, there were “irreconcilable differences” between the duo.

According to papers filed by Heard, she is asking for spousal support from Depp, with whom she was married for a little over a year. However, the Black Mass actor has filed a request for the judge to reject Heard’s spousal support efforts.

The two met on the set of 2011’s film The Rum Diary. Depp and Heard married in a private civil ceremony at their home in Los Angeles, and then some time later they celebrated it with their family and friends in the Bahamas.

Even though there are claims that Depp’s family hated Heard, the actress’ supporters reject them. According to rumors, Depp’s mother reportedly hated Heard for using her son to make advances in her acting career. And some even claim she believed Heard treated Depp like “crap.”

But the actress’ supporters don’t agree with the claims, saying that Heard was by Betty Sue Palmer’s side in hospital during her longtime illness. In fact, the supporters add that the actress was getting along with Depp’s son Jack well.
